The contours of the land can change from flat desolate desert to rugged 14,000 ft mountains in a mater of miles. And in these relatively few miles there are streams and river, forests with trees over a hundred years old and rock formations that have been around for centuries. Shooting landscapes is so fun for me because I can search for days trying to find my vision. Sometimes I find it and am able to capture the moment other times I find something completely different than was expected.
